About Acer Aspire one Laptop
The aim behind the design of Acer Aspire one is to provide low cost laptops without cutting down on the features. The under $400 notebook, in no way, looks like a cheap model with its attractive exterior and light weight. It is just 1.1 inches high and 2.2 lbs heavy. Easy to carry and easy to store due to its size, the notebook is suitable for beginners and for people who need a basic notebook with all the features but do not want to spend much. It also serves as a great gift for your kids.
The Acer Aspire one runs on the Intel Dual Core Atom Processor with a peak speed of 1.6 GHz. Enhancements to the data transfer are the L2 type cache and the 945GSE express chipset. The random memory is 1GB that can be expanded to 1.5 GB max. The HDD is ATA 120 GB running on the normal IDE channel. The minus is the absence of an optical reader. However the unit supports a range of plug and play external storage devices.
It is not behind in offering connectivity too. The laptop has an inbuilt Ethernet Card that supports Wireless connectivity as well. The NIC is compatible with a range of network configurations so you can use it anywhere you wish.
